We are excited to offer a Cummins 2.8 to the Dodge NV4500 adapter kit. The NV 4500 is a great transmission to put behind an R2.8 for any application. This kit comes with a with pivot ball, clutch fork and pilot bearing.  

 

This kit utilizes the factory Cummins 2.8 flywheel which will need to be machined to add the necessary holes. Purchase price idoes NOT include machining of your flywheel. We will include dimensions for your machinist to add the necessary holes. The flywheel should be machined to accept a standard Jeep 4.0L 6cylinder pressure plate and clutch. A standard dodge ram truck slave cylinder and throw out bearing can then be utilized. In order to use the Jeep clutch, a gasoline V8 1 1/8" 10 spline input shaft must be used on the NV4500. If you have a diesel 1 1/4" shaft, no problem, the input shaft on an NV4500 can be easily swapped to the gasoline version.
